Aim
To determine the conditions needed for the growth of yeast.
You Will Need:
5 test-tubes / 3 beakers for water / yeast / sugar and salt / 5 balloons.
Method:

Cream 30g of yeast together with 5ml sugar in test-tube number 1.

Cream 30 g of yeast alone in test-tube number 2.

Cream 30g of yeast together with 5ml of salt in test-tube number 3.

Cover each of these test-tubes 1,2,& 3 with a balloon and put the three tubes in a beaker with warm water (24°C—29°C).
